Default The Raconteurs- just for fun music

If you don't know who Jack White is- The White Stripes are a Detriot band (husband and ex-wife actually) that have had several hits on the radio for the last 7-8 yrs. About a year or so ago Jack moved to Nashville. Somehow he came across the Raconteurs and ask to join the band. Well, this is only important to me because my future brother-in-law is the fiddle player in the video. He, also, plays guitar, keyboards, bass, woodwind and various other things that take way more talent than I could ever imagine.
The first video is an intro to a different video, but I think it funny so I added it. The other video is a cover of the bluegrass song "Old Enough".
Jack has played, produced and written songs that range from the new Bond movie to producing an album for Loretta Lynn. I'm not alone in this line of thought believing that Jack may be this generations version of Johnny Cash. Hope you guys take an interest.
BTW- Jack is the dark haired guy of the two lead singers.

I have the latest disk, not too bad. Little more consistent than the White Stripes cool tune and crap style.

You can't replace Cash, but you can evolve the next generation to fit the genre. This guy's ability to blend into different formats of music is amazing. Rick Reuben (produced every one from the Black Crowes to Cash's last albums) has a great producer ear. Jack makes Rick look like he just got out of audio school.

But did you like the video?

Makes ya think, don't it? Like JC Scott in Patton quoting Patton's poem "I have fought in many forms, many guises, but always me".

I would like to think that our soul is reincarnated, but I'd just come back as some poor sap on an SV650 with a milkcrate bunji corded to the seat. In 2020 or thereabouts that'l be a sad sight indeed.
