Good choice, heart breaking end regardless of you cheer for. Hmm too bad they don't go back to '83. What was the last year for the 500's?

Last year of the 500's was 2001.



Kenny Roberts Jr won the 500cc Championship in 2000..the last American to win the title before the Rossi blackout.

All of em were great, but if i had to pick..

Best two races: Mugello and Sachsenring

Two not so great: Le Mans and Catalunia

You needed to watch the previous MotoGP races to appreciate what happened at Laguna Seca.



When you get caught up you won't want to miss the rest of the series (Go Nicky!!).

I agree with Mugello, Assen & Sachenring. I'd add the Istanbul race. Check out the 250 race in Istanbul, Turkey too! Crazy 4 person intense racing in the last few laps with a KTM/Japanese rider (how often do you see that?) in the mix.
