I loved how the announcer said loud and clear that Colin Edwards had won the Assen MotoGP just as we were watching Edwards crash and Hayden go on to win. SHould be a lesson to him to never ever call a race until it is OVER!!

But where were the Buells? I thought we only cared about races with Buells here at MO? :P

Hopefully Colin will get his win this year.

With all these Americans it is tough to pick someone to root for. I'd love to see Hopkins make it to the podium too.

I think there's a lesson there for all of us. never gas it up in the grass. Also, if only CE had not been wearing a helmet, he would've heard Nick was NOT right behind him like he thought. Dammit, so close...

O it is high time for a Nick Hayden mechanical dnf... electrical problem perhaps?

I like Nick but he has never had to dig deep, ride hurt, that type of thing. A little too golden boy so far. I need to see some cojones before i can get on board. Y I was in Doohan's trailer at USGP when he pulled off plastic glove under leather glove to reveal BONE MARROW for gods sake... AIIIIEEEEEE!! I don't think Nick has ever had a pimple. I tell you guys about my hemorrhoids yet?

Kudos to Colin for going ball's-out to win the thing. And a big "how the hell did you do that?!" to Nicky for plowing through 20 feet of gravel at - what, 60, 70 mph? - and keeping it upright. You could hear his voice shaking in the post-race press conference - think he got the sh** scared out of him?
