Default Meeting at the Summit

Ok, guys and gals, there are numerous references here to a MO get-together at the GP.

And that's an excellent idea even for those of us with no desire to ride a Buell Blast even if it is "specially prepped" (KPaul, just what EXACTLY does that mean?).

I realize that racing weekend is nine months away, but as the date approaches someone's gotta take the bull (or BS) by the horns and organize us. Sean and Buz know the track...shall we meet at Buz's RV?

PS: I suggest that the Buell Blasts be specially prepped with spiked tires and the racing take place at two AM at Ron's Ice-A-Rena in Salinas, California. Of course, no racers will be allowed on the ice without protective fringed arm chaps. The winner of the race will receive their choice of the holy trinity: Clapped out Concours, sagging SV650, or vitrified VFR (last generation). This "trophy" will be presented by MR ALLCAPS.

All large, inert, chunks of iron fall at the same rate in a constant gravitational potential.

1/2mv^2=mgh

v=sqrt(2gh)

QED

On the upside, both would look very stylin' in the process.

The Geezer Glide probably has enough suspension travel to absorb the impact on landing.

I'll know more about the RV location after they open up the improved camping spots for sale. The only spots available for sale right now is the turn 11 area which is basically a hill. My ancient RV is 25 feet long and doesn't have that fancy self-leveling crap. I've got to level mine the old-fashioned way, blocks of wood and lots of swearing!

You got an RV or this will just be the designated MOron BBQ and beer bash hangout for the weekend? Heck, MO should pick up part of the tab.....LOL

I have a desire to race a Buell Blast. Or any sportbike for that matter. Let's do it. If things work out we might drive out there towing our bikes to get a little California riding in.

The prep for the Buell Blasts is simple. Everybody but Kook carries 500 pounds of ballast. Sean carries 1000 pounds. This should even it up.
