You know that, Preston Petty was mounted on a '69 DKW with Curnutt shocks forward and aft, he was also the last one in the parade.

I would have given my left nut just to have made the start line on my old DT2.

In '58 the Catalina GP was the race that got Yamaha interested in dirt bikes btw.

Not too many four strikers in the race, eh Mongo? Liked that yellow '73 400 Maico.

Ah, maybe they'll have a wheelchair class next year. Who knows?

I heard they were reviving the Catalina race, but I didn't know they'd be featuring vintage bikes. Very cool; I hope somebody does a good episode or article on it.
