That really is a crock! Funny though how Triumph has been building Bonnies again for long enough to bring the used prices down.......a little work with a flame wrench.....a set of decent shocks and forks...some good knobbies and THE DESERT SLED RIDES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes shipmate, I would love to blow by some 450 MXer in a sandwash whilst aboard a new desert sled. Might just happen all over again if these throw-away dirt bikes keep being foisted on us dirt bikers. After all, there are only so many decent 500cc two strokes left, and people aren't selling them.

I know! I just sold my pristine 2001 CR500. It took less than 3 hours on Craigslist, and I got a lot more than I paid for it.

I replaced it with another two stroke, though. OK?

Guess we'll have to start stripping down street bikes like the old days, if you want something that will last more than 15 hours before a $2,500.00 top end job.

First I've heard of that, we've gotten about 10,000 hits since it started a week ago, with lots of free bike ads, stories, new users, etc. Try it with another browser, like IE version 8.
