69 year old Rick "Super Hunky" Sieman suffered a minor heart attack last night at around ten PM, at his home in Maricopa Arizona.

He's in the hospital now undergoing tests, and should OK once they figure out what happened. Rick suffered a stroke in 2004, and made a full recovery.

Rick's wife, Tina said he's champing at the bit to get out of the hospital, and even tried to sneak out, but was caught slipping out a mantenance exit.

Hope he's ok Matt! That's a nice area...I did a lot of riding in and around Maricopa when I lived in Scottsdale. Right about now the temperature is coming down to a point where it's really nice riding.

Thanks Ken, I just got off the phone with ol' Rick, he sounded great. Should be out of the horsepistol soon enough. Turned out he was on some crazy diet that depleted some mineral that governs heart functions, so that might have been it. I personally am on a beer diet at the moment, I don't know if it's working, but could care less after a few cans of suds.

Keep the faith there Ken.

Super Hunky cannot die. He is immortal. Riding the Mint 400 on a hardtail chopper proved that!

This morning I was thumbing through my new Motorcycle Classics magazine, when lo and behold, it's a full-page ad with the title:

WHY DOES SUPER HUNKY WRITE FOR VMX MAGAZINE?

Because in VMX, there's no fluff, no heavily tattooed punks...etc.

How about it Matt, are you going to write for VMX too? I can't imagine anyone better to do a column or features in a vintage dirt bike mag.

PS: Why Super Hunky? It can't be his looks...

Check out issue 38, the Puch story. Yep, dat's mine. Ken Smith is the editor, and a great guy. We made the pilgrimage from LAX to Ricks house in Rosarito a few times, a true dirt biker.

...Oh YAWN...dirt bikes....getting stuck behind a trash truck on I 95 beats a full lock feet-up slide around some bushes in 4th gear.
