Maico bounces back with something big

Rumors surrounding a potential Maico resurrection are flying about, and as reported by an individual close to the action, who will remain un-named at this time, a new BIG-BORE Maico of over 600 cee cees, weighing 220 lbs. and generating over seventy horsepower, is "in the works" so to speak.

Here are some specs to make you drool:

Cooling: Water
Inlet system: Reed valve system
Exhaust system: S.E.E.S. exhaust system
Cylinder capacity: 616ccm
Bore/Stroke: 95 x 87mm
KW/horsepower: 56/76
Carburetor: Bing Type 55/44-205
Transmission: 5 speed gearbox
Ignition: PVL digital

I've been sworn to secrecy on other specs like the shock, forks, wheelbase, etc. so we'll just have to expect typical Maico excellence.

Lord Ghod Billy Bob, let's see some 450 MX bike keep up with this!

This isn't that ATK resurrection revisited, is it?

I won't believe it until SH shows up on one in West Virginia again. :D

Hans Maich must be what 70 by now? Hard to imagine the family being involved

Nope, Maico is based out of the Netherlands now, they build sidehack motors and frames.
