I'm OK, just a few bruises... bike is totalled. The Buell was my #2 ride anyhow, I was selling it cuz it was going unused since I got a Multistrada

Of course, some 20-year olds think they know what they're doing.
When I got my first bike, I didn't quite think that way. If I was self-deceived at all it was that I had no responsible, experienced motorcyclist available to tell me just how far I was getting in over my head, but I had the feeling that was toying with something dangerously beyond my knowledge and ability. Fortunately I took it just slow enough, and that coupled with God's good grace kept me from any permanent damage. |

Good read...IMHO.
Reminds me a little bit of something my Father-In-Law told me once. (After I crashed trail-riding.) "You should never crash while trail-riding, because you should be under control." Racing is different, as we test the limits of control.... I try to apply what he said to all my riding now, since I no longer race. |
