Great Read! I've only sat on the buell at a dealership and wondered if I could ride it all 15 miles home in one shot. What a fantastic feat.

Great article. To do this on an American made V Twin sans a pocket full of sparkplugs, spare points, a couple gallons of oil and a chase truck is amazing. Shows you how reliable new Harleys are.

I was thinking about this the other day, and it kind of parallels the Firearms Industry. 20 years ago, firearms from South America were junk, pure and simple. Like exploding cigars. Now, with new technology (CNC) guns from south of the border are just as good, or better than the S&Ws Colts and Glocks. Case in point. I just picked up an Argentine FM (Fabrique Military) P35 copy thatÂ’s as nice as my occupation WWII FN P35.

Now if I could just get a semi-automatic 9mm Sportster IÂ’d be in business.

For anyone interested there is a similar ride on June 4 from Houston, Texas to either Pensacola, Fl or Ft Stockton, Tx. A buddy and I are riding in it. The cost is $45 that goes to a good charity (i think brain tumors). We plan on going to Ft Stockton due to the road construction on the way to Florida. If anyone would like to join us just let me know.

Funny and so true. Yep my wife has been nagging me about the bike sitting out in the garage and I have only ridden it only 3 times this year . Been busy with school, work and there was the 3 weeks I spent at the pysch clinic (just kidding) . You have a good weekend. I thought sportbikebandit would be a good cover name... Darn Steven and SBP...I was doing so well.....
