I have to complement you on a terrific account of your journey. It is a dream of mine to make a similar trip some day. I'd even be willing to do it on a Harley.

Extra kudos to your gal-pal Jen for the spectacular photography.

My entry in the contest for the $100 prize says the dumb@sses standing 20 yards from the wild bison. In particular, the one carrying the baby/small child.

Excellent report longride. I about spit out a mouthful of 10 year Tawny Port when I saw that photo of you and the cigar store KP.

You know EagleRider has a San Diego location and you and the little woman would have a local tour guide available. We've got the Wild Animal Park for those close to nature shots!

Great story, Longride sounds like you had a blast, My ex and I did that trip in '87 on my K100RS, except we came from Washington on I-90 through to the Little Bighorn battlefield then on around to Sheridan Wyoming, then into Yellowstone through Cody, where we stayed.

We came back through Jackson Hole, then up through Idaho and Oregon into Washington and home. It was a fun ride through some Beautiful scenery, perfect on a bike.

Default Excellent article but...

Good article. However, next time you should go to Colorado and see some real mountains (52 peaks over 14,000 ft). Give those Harleys a true test over Trail-Ridge road in Rocky Mtn National Park. The Teton range is cool but the peaks are short and the numbers few. Nice to know you were having woody thoughts about me (not). Southern Utah is good too. Beats the hell out of Chicago and Michigan Ave. hey Longride. Go CUBs!!!

This has got to be bad of me, but with all the beautifull pics, the ones I checked out first were the ones with Jen in them......

All serious now, great artical. Let the euroMO's see what America is all about.

I'm still drolling over the Dolimites pictures from awhile back.

George, great article great pics, great job. I only have one little suggestion, "PUT JEN IN MORE OF THE PICS!" She would make even that gorgeous God created scenery more enjoyable.

Just a thought!

Peace,

Steve
