I'd like to find out if anyone has found the Pilot Race down right dangerous on the road, particularly when cold. I came off at 20mph on a downhill right hander on my brand new stick like #%&% Pilot Races, trashed my ZX9, and had my right leg amputated above the knee, my left leg crushed to pulp and now only 50% use. Oh yeah did I mention that these were recommended as the best thing since Mick Doohan. Two years, 13 operations later I want to ask mr Michelin if he would like to donate some readies to my survival fund now that I can't work for a decent wage. Anyone heard any similar stories?
