Good job on getting the covetted First Post, and then mentioning it no less. Your use of "!" was most imaginative. It suggests a childish glee and excitement that can only have been derived from a moment of exuberance.

I can believe this. I recently changed over from 208GP to Pirelli's and am amazed by the improvement in handling of my R1.

How about a series of tire tests? Tires are probably the most important bike part for safety, comfort and performance and the most frequently replaced. An annual tire shootout of one general purpose bike using several major brands over a variety of useage conditions would be valuable.
An alternative would be a series of short articles by your testers every time you change the rubber on one of the bikes in your mighty test fleet. What you test would depend on the purpose of the bike. Another excuse to go riding, guys! |

I couldn't agree more. Tires are to much of a mystery and with the proliferation of different models we need all the information we can get. I think tire shoot-outs would be a very valuable addition to the site.

Usually "Sport Rider" has decent tire comparisons but I'd welcome another opinion...
