Well, this should be a quick review. Kawi wins again with it's great ergos/motor and the R6 is the best track bike for the street and the Triumph lacks a little bit of everything. Good article, but I'm still curious to see if MO is gonna pull crazy decision like they did with the liter bikes.

What a POS shootout! Like a poster said below, we all know what's what with the 600's. Why didn't you take the R-6, F4i and Gixer and put them through the paces and give us more in-depth set-up info. Two dogs and the r-6 don't make much of an interesting review.

Very bad showing MO!

Default Upcoming reviews?

Speaking of reviews that you've been teasing us with, whatever happened to the SV650 v ZR7 v Monster?

"Very bad showing" according to you, but judging by the number of e-mails we receive regarding this, we're doing the right thing and giving the people what they want. Just because you don't approve of this comapro doesn't mean somebody else won't gain something from it.

That said, your idea for a more in-depth, racer-targeted comparo is a good one. If more of you would like us to do a comparo for racers, by racers then feel free to send me an e-mail and if the response is there, we'll make it happen.

Good enough?

Or the ZRX1200 vs. the Speed Triple, vs. the Buell X1 vs. the Bandit 1200.

Oh yeah, and don't forget the FZ-1!!! Damn, there sure are a lot of naked bikes around all the sudden.. I wonder how their sales rack up against sportbikes and sport-tourers???

Default SV will win

Yeah, SV vs. ZR7.

And quit refering to the SV as a "budget bike" or "good beginner bike". I was at the local track this weekend and saw countless SV's in full race getup. Those guys equalled and, in some cases, beat the shiznit out of GSX-R's and R1's. (yes the little 650 hauls ascot!)

Where's the EX250 in this review? Isnt it in the 600 class? Does anyone like to heat up fig newtons in the microwave?

Like someone said before, it's obvious what's going to happen. The kawasaki rules the street. The R6 is not for the street and the TT600 falls behind all the japanese machinery. You should put the F4 and the ZX-6R side-by-side to see which one is the best street bike. The others are just no real contenders. Even a '97 thundercat is a much better street bike than the R6 or a GSX-R600.
