Redflex wouldn't happen to be the folks selling them the cameras, would they?

I am wearing my beret and playing accordion right now, matter of fact. In Speedo. Vive la France.

I love the part where the same guys who say lies, damn lies and statistics when the statistics go against them, are all ready to trot out a few to bolster their own arguments.

How many Amuricans in thee military? Wonder how high unemployment rate would be if not for them also? Personally i think i might rather pay for a guy to lay around dormant, than to pay for 5000 guys to lay around on each of our, how many? 19? aircraft carriers.

Okay, so you've got a guy who's real sick and didn't have to pay for his healthcare. Big whoop. Of course he's a convert.

That's the whole problem. Everyone only cares when it's their a$$ on the line. But what does it cost society as a whole? France's economy sucks ball$, genius.

Most important, what does it cost the majority of people who will never need this type of care?

Our system could use improvement but no one in this country is refused healthcare, regardless of their ability to pay.

We're paying for the uninsured anyway. So now people would rather have the government run it? Ha!

"So, maybe insurance companies shouldn't spend anything on fertility treatments, since that's going to drive up costs AND the infant mortality rate."

That's not a conclusion I would draw from that.

"And isn't spending on programs to prevent premature births just another government program?"

So is water purification. The debate is where you draw the line.
