Hey I just watched that movie last night on DVD, it's one of my fav's. I missed the last bit because of the half a fifth o' whisky I drank but he wins right? I'd a nailed that indian ginch instead of Sondra Locke but whatever floats yer boat.

Am I the only one who can see what that evil rapacious Harley Davivdson is up to? They'll probably use this as an advertising ploy and give discounts to active duty military just so they'll BUY A MOTORCYCLE OFF THEM WHEN THEY GET HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The shame of it all........

Support the warrior not the war

Hmm taxes haven't gone up by war expenditures have. Sounds like another episode of voodoo economics. Who will pay back the war debt? Will anyone remember why the economy is in the dumps in 2010? W keeps spending on Uncle Sam's credit card.. Thanks to all the GTPB members who voted for W.. Way go to longride, seruzawa, and Buzglyd. Your vote made a big difference to the next Generation..

I just finished reading his book (the first one), and was struck by how he credits himself and the H-A for virtually every "change" in the moto-culture, and how "we're not really criminals, just guys lookin' for a real good time. Every one of us; 'cept for Two-Fisted-Larry, Rapist-Jack, Strongarm-Stanley, Extortionist-Eddie, Pedophilic-Petey, Gut-You-Jimmy, Hair-trigger-Sam......."

He also talks about how fast the "Jap-bikes" are, but "what a man really wants, is POWER, and that's what you get in a H-D. You can hook one up to a truck and pull it with an H-D, but you'd rip a clutch right out of one O' them Jap-bikes". He also says a few words about his Honda ST, and its reliability.

Or something like that (all the above is mostly paraphrased).

It's an interesting read, but you get the feel that a lot of it's been somewhat sensationalized in order to make it so.

Yeah! Who does The Motor Company think they are? - hawking their shoddy product to American Servicemen at a Discount-Rate, all based on a pathetically simple "Buy America" schtick.........
