THe Sporty is pretty nice but did anyone think of this: HD has been testing a water cooled sporter replacement motor in AZ. Could the new bike be the first look at a the "all new sporty"? Looks that way to me- What do you say KP?

I believe Harley's share is around 98%. Erik himself still owns a minority interest I believe. Can anyone back me up on that?

It isn't marketed to Gen Y and 'young europeans'. Those guys have to buy 600cc sportbikes and fall down alot to figure out that they need something else. Have you figured that out yet?

So Harley finally build a bike I'd buy, and they target it for Europe, not here.

Any idea where I can send comments to HD? I tried their website, but I guess they don't want feedback.

as a "young european" i am puzzled why i need to buy a 600cc sportsbike and fall down a lot? ..and if i am going to fall down a lot is it better to be under a lighter bike while i am doing it ?

anyhow finally a harley i might even think about buying..good job harley ..as soon as i get through this phase of mine i will be in the shop looking for one ...

T'was a reference to the original poster. I doubt the new Sportster is marketed for a young audience.

OK, I'll bite. By "light", what would you expect this thing to weigh?
