Indiana has 5000 places that need protecting. California and New York hardly have that many between them. I don't know if there was any money left over for that two mile stretch in New Jersey with nothing between the freeway and one refinery and chemical plant after another, or the LNG plant in Boston that could take out everything for a mile or so around it if it ever went up. But Indiana has got a 'park at the end of the street' (Street not named) I don't know if it's a Democrat's or Republican's district, but whoever it is that scarfed up that pork is self-centered almost to the point of treason.

Do you know how to tell a Porcupine from a BMW? In a BMW, the pricks are on the INSIDE.

Uh, I thought Hitler's Final Solution *WAS* being carried-out. And it wasn't a foregone conclusion that Nazi Germany was going to "lose" without US intervention.

Most likely, Hitler's "Most Trusted" would have killed him and sued for peace before another couple of years went by.

If all that would have happened, you'd probably see a far, far different map of eastern Europe today.

I'd say 100M dead is a somewhat conservative number. Nobody but Stalin and God know how many he murdered. And Stalin didn't care enough to keep count.

By carried out I meant finished. As for the forgone conclusion about Hitler losing, the cream of his army was already destroyed waaaay before D-day.
