Default Re: WA State spike in motorcycle deaths

In further news the Wa State Police have issued a warning to all motocyclists to avoid riding anywhere near a ZX6 rider. Apparently most cruiser crashes have been determined to be caused by the riders laughing uncontrollably and losing control of their vehicles while observing a ZX6 rider who wears only shorts and sandals and is incapable of riding in a straight line at speeds greater than 35mph. Police have been unable to apprehend this road menace due to the inability to overcome their own uncontrollable laughter as well.

Default Okay, I know it's been said already at least twice but...

...it's just incredulous.

WHAT THE F%$K ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT?

They state the main problems are inexperienced riders and inattentive drivers and then they announce a crackdown on aggressive riding? I doubt the 52 year-old woman who rode herself into a ditch was an aggressive rider.

How about addressing the problems with some county/state sponsored programs? Oh, I forgot. That won't bring in any revenue, will it?

Sounds like they needed a thin excuse to get the cash register ringing.

Anyone who has anything to do with that article from all parties should be fired at once. How did the "journalist" let the official off the hook? What a disgrace.

Right f**king on! Between food, music, videos, GPS, phones, etc., I'm surprised traffic moves at all. I keep gizmos OFF my bike for good reason... I don't have the luxury of taking my eyes off the road for a second with all the distracted drivers!

Just put a helmet on everybody. That'll fix the problem. If one helmet isn't enough, then make em wear 2 helmets. I'm sure the legislators can think of SOMETHING to fix this problem.

Forget the helmets, we probably just need more legislators.

Yes, the percentage of unlicensed drivers is what always scares me. How/why do so many avoid the relatively simply process of taking an MSF class and taking a no-brainer riding test?

My harsh opinion: If someone hops on a bike (or any vehicle for that matter) with no license or training and crashes we should just leave 'em as road kill and sign saying "A product of natural selection" or perhaps "Brain dead before and after."
