That is one of the best motorcycle stories ever.

It is also very well known to be Fiction.

It is posted in the forums at least once a year at some of the other sites I fequent. A great writer she is.

Moral to the untimely demise of the ZZR1100:

Beware the wayward cucumber; ditto for beer bottles.

I've heard that performance and longevity will always be unreliable unless proper lubrication is assured. The pipe, jet kit, sprocket change and some other mods appear foolhardy in light of the sick engine and possible maintenance issues.

And just where did she use the 100-plus rwhp in or around the Ukraine with the "bad roads"?

I noticed that her web site has changed, I remember there used to be more pics showing her bike and more talk about riding...

maybe some of those pics with recognizable stuff in the background got her in a bit of trouble?
