A Guzzi Vtwin is like a boxer with a hard on Â… erm make that two hard ons.

My only gripe with BMW (and Guzzi?) is that they forget that folks like me carry a large package, so the 50" seat height is a show stopper.

Me, I want a 27 inch seat height.

The Norge would be fine with a modern motor in the plus 110HP range. The old Guzzi motor is essentially an exercise in nostalgia, much like I hate to admit it, Harleys. Their appeal to me and many I think is having that motor hanging out in space for all to see. Covering it up eliminates that.

I have been tempted more than once to get a new LeMans but the weaknesses in vibration ,suspension and transmissions always made me step back. The new Breva has really obliterated those problems. I suppose the Norge will incorporate the new Breva features but then cover up the lovely old motor and take away Guzzi personality.

I could live with 75 rwhp but not if that old lump motor is covered up with plastic.

The Griso is going to be a huge hit. Everyone loves it. I do too but I need a fairing, for practial reasons.

My new Breva 1100 is my 6th bike, 3rd Guzzi, and the best one I've every owned. Absolutely love it.

Well my price/performance ratio was all out of whack and taillights kept burning out due to excessive vibration.

I had to get to the bottom of it.

The Norge only shows up on the Italian site not the US site cause it's not available there yet. Just click on Gamma Modelli 2006

Buz,

You tried RTV-ing the base of the bulb to the socket (after the bulb is inserted, of course)?

I lurnt that from some oldtimers when my FXR ate one too many 1157's. It worked!

The RTV keeps the bulb from shaking in the socket, while at the same time is easily removable.

I was just kidding. I've never had a bulb burn out but some of the "experts" here warn of it frequently.

Except for my mp3 player flinging off the windshield, it was an uneventful trip.

I was aware of the racing model only, but would like a street version meeting all safety requirements. Now that would be a bike!!
