I just want to make clear - my comment above has nothing to do with "liberals" or "conservatives" or the present administration. As far as I am concerned, both the Clinton and Bush administrations were equally crooked and equally dangerous to the individual. They just have different clienteles, that's all. And even there, the differences are becoming more and more blurred. The terms liberal and conservative have become so abstract as to become meaningless, yet we behave as if everyone has a common idea what they mean, then proceed to fight about it.

Responding in defense, I am not a liberal. John McCain is my man. Fiscal conservative social liberal. Bush is the opposite Fiscal liberal social conservative. I am a registered Republican (who used to be fiscal conservatives). Voted for McCain in the primary. Hell I voted for Rossi the Repub canidate for governor. I don't care what longride does in his bed room. Just balance the budget. Hell longride if Teddy Roosevelt was here you would call him a radical environmentalist and isolationist...

Well McCain is on record as being pro-life so I don't know how that makes him a social liberal.

I guess that means I am a true conservative My point is just because I oppose W; his war and fiscal policy doesn't mean I am a liberal.

heaven forbid anyone not fit cleanly into the red or blue box.

Considering all of the issues out there, and how each of them effects our individual lives - abortion law is pretty close to the bottom of my list.

Is this your advice for the people who live here?

Stay in the house when the squids are playing?

I'm all about your right to ride a road, but I certainly won't defend your right to endanger others. You ALL know that there are a LOT of people out there who can't keep it in their lane when pushing through these roads. They're stupid, they're incompentent and they don't have a "right" to be there.

Those of you who say that you wouldn't be pissed if people were racing through your neighborhood are liars. Maybe if it wasn't one of your own... harley riders, ricers in civics, whatever.

I think McCain is on the record as supporting the war as well.
