Careful. You might upset some people around here with your anti-government rantings.

I guess I'll have to buy a pistol first.

The only danger in my neighborhood could be a gang of angry bond traders.

Depends on what you consider a "warm-weather" weekend, really.

Is this road on Palomar mountain considered a residential street with a 30mph limit, with people pushing strollers and walking their dogs up and down it? The cyclists aren't racing up and down the homeowners' driveways, are they?

If the locals want to control what happens on that road, they had better pony up and purchase that road at whatever market value can conceivably be placed on it. Then they can determine who gets to use it and who doesn't, and in what fasion. It is completely illegitimate for the rest of us to subsidize their home values and lifestyles by having a beautiful, twisty mountain pass built simply for them to get to their mountain estates, while they simultaneously get to control, in some measure, the use of that road by the rest of us.

What conservatives? You haven't seen any conservatives around lately have you? I think that the last real one died about 40 years ago.

I rode with a couple of squids yesterday. I found out I was a chicken*&^# for sitting behind a couple of cars I could have easily passed on a double yellow.

Funny how latter they were no where to be seen when there were no cars around. And I'm not very fast.
