I'd take you with me. I'd start em off and you would finish em.

Come on mile_eater, liberals ARE toerant, as long as your open mind is in agreement with like ideals. Otherwise you are a close minded, right wing, big business supporting dumb-ass with no concept of how the world works.

Iamz, I think the issue here is using the "law" to preempt lawfull congregation. It is illegal to do so.

That's the point of America, isn't it? I can not like what you say or do, but you can say or do it as long as no one else is harmed. The founding fathers set up this land of ours to protect that, not profile it out of existence.

That is, it is not the will of the American People to suppress minorities (well, at least in Torrance, CA, it's a different story down in Orange County or those we deem smelly or unwashed, and the law is here to uphold that principal, not be part of the problem.

That was the original meaning, 'Zawa. And it referred to outlaw racing. That meaning was lost long ago.

(But somehow I think you know that.)

Default They were scared of those guys?

Oh, the Vagos web site is a hoot! They might be into some bad stuff, but they look like mainly a bunch of old sacks playing dress-up.

(Of course, firearms would make them more formidable.)

I especially like the History section where they relate the origin of the club patch--lovingly concieved by "Moose" while he was incarcerated for an unnamed offense--the Norse god Loki, the god of mischief. Oh, it's priceless.

Does anyone look intimidating riding a new Softail? I think not.

Okay, but seriously folks, I'll try to make a lucid statement on this: The cops here we're definetely overzealous. The "outlaws" were having a poker run, for crissakes. A poker run? Not even a drug-and booze-fueled strip poker run? Oh, man, did these turds not bring enough Viagra?

I say wait until one of these fat-a$$es does something wrong before you bust 'em. But the Vagos aren't doing themselves any favors, either. If that comic book web site is any indication, they don't want people to think they're a nice little Sunday ridig group.

I'd donate by mail, using my attorney's letterhead... This is just one more story showing that it's still who you know.

Easy now we don't need any name calling we all know the the Pigs and the commies are in bed with the Government to take our rights away. But I must admit I think the Ama should do something and I will be telling all the guys I know that are members to email whoever to have something done. I got it lets have a rally in this po'dunk town and really burn it down put it on CNN and have T-shirts that say if your town acts this way we will come and burn it down to.

Default It's just a sad byproduct....

...of all them near-retirees deciding to don a set of black leathers, ride chopped-up/70's harley-look-a-likes, and be roudy in large groups.

I say ditch the black leathers and get some pink gore-tex. That way they'll be laughing too hard to give ya a ticket!!
