Default Ride in Ca and Wa!

Lots of great information here. I suggest that eveyone buy these books and then spend all their time riding in California and Washington. What a great idea. Spend all your time there. Those are the best places in the world. Never leave.

Is it okay that I just moved to Pullman? It's practically Idaho anyways.

Default Only $400K?

Yo, Sarnali...

In my little old Greenlake-area neighborhood your house would go $850K. If you could find one like that. It's outrageous.

Default Gotta give credit

Props to Paul Gordon for inventing the term "squid" back in the late 70's or early 80's.

A squid is a poseur, a self-centered sport biker who is not a safe rider due to overestimation of his/her own skill.

Useful clues in identifying calamari: Aftermarket pipe and rearsets, but never done a track day.

An expert rider on an EX500 can pass the R1- mounted squid at will. Course, that definition puts me right into the calamari bucket.

Cool, we lived in my dads attic on 83rd and Fremont in the early 90's while we were between houses, in fact my oldest daughter was born there.

Cool neighborhood, we used to hit the Buckeroo for Guinness on tap on my '79 R100RT

Default Blame Madisson Ave

All the SUV commercials on TV show SUVs driving in the mountains. They tell me that this year's SUV has better handling and traction. They tell me if I want to drive on Angeles Crest, I must use an SUV. Blame it on Madisson Ave. It's all their fault.

No. It sucks. Stay away. It's for your own good.

Trust me.
