Default Re: A Better Way, Grasshopper

Things are very much the same in Canada... The conservatives and liberals are really no different at all. Mainstream political parties all sit close to the center of the political spectrum. Our current liberal government is running budget surpluses and cutting back bureaucracy... Previous "conservative" governments have spent us into very deep holes.

Only a "radical" third party wil have the balls to take the risks that we sometimes need even if they don't please everyone. But the majority of the population have been brainwashed over the years to think their current government is doing a great job; they become complacent and too chicken***** to vote for a party that might actually make a difference. I used to vote reform, but the conservative right in Canada is such a mess right now that they don't offer a real alternative anymore. Looks like we're going to be stuck with the liberal party arrogance for another 5 years or so, or more.

I don't want to vote.

Please stop. You ***** up what could really otherwise be a fun thread. You have posted 35 times out of 72 total posts. All of them are about politics, or replying to people you pissed off about politics. Nearly every one of your posts has some hysterical, drooling "click here for the trutf!!1!!1!!" link on it. Rememeber what this thread was about? A puff piece about Schwarzenegger riding a Harley, and does it matter vis-a-vis what you think about him politically? Who cares you say, Schwarzenegger is in California and that has Hollywood and H stands for Heinz and she's married to Kerry! There are three hundred thousand blogs where you can do this tired political *****. I've tried to have a good sense of humor about you, KPaul, I really have. Thing is, this isn't the wild-outlaw innernut. It costs $12 to be here, so it really takes a special kind of go-tard to act the way you do. Just. Stop.

P.S. I am not impressed by your goddamn educational credentials*, nor should anyone be. Partly because mine are better, but mostly because I know how distantly related credentials are to sense, or intellegence, of thoughtfulness. Those things are less easy to suss out than by reading a resume. You make what you are evidently clear by the way you act in a motorcycle forum. Even if Kerry is Saint McJeebus and we're all just too stupid to figure out how wonderful he is, you are behaving badly, and making me embarrassed. For my entire species.

In conclusion: Stop.

*You are likely a ***** world-class liar anyway.

Don't forget that Kerry testified before Congress in the early 70's that all US servicemen in Vietnam were war criminals. Also he stood by testimony that all US servicemen were mother raping baby killers who ravaged the countryside killing civilians and livestock (and, one would assume, also catapulted said livestock over the castle walls).

Kerry is a self-admitted committer of war atrocities. While in command of his gunboat he stooged around Free Fire Zones firing at targets of opportunity and managed to rack up a tally of several enemy troops, a mother and her 12 year old daughter, an old man and several South Vietnamese Army troops. This is especially strange to me since I also spent a number of months on a gunboat in Nam and never killed one non-combatant or ARVN trooper in any Free Fire Zone. Free Fire Zones are not posted or fenced in so one is supposed to act with discretion, not barnstorm around throwing ordnance at anything that moves.

Kerry ran the Vietnam Vets Against the War, a pro-Ho Chi Minh organization that became notorious for its mob of "veterans" who told the world of all the atocities they committed in Nam. The problem with this is that later a journalist investigated these claims and discovered that hundreds of these testimonials came from people who were either never in the military or, if in the military, were never in Nam. The V.V.A.W.'s platform to end the war was the same as the north Vietnamese plan. The human catastrophe of the communist takeover of Vietnam and Cambodia is well documented. I wonder how liberals like Kerry can ever wash the blood of the victims of Marxism from their hands.

Kerry supposedly threw his medals over the Whitehouse fence during a 70's demonstration. Today they are hanging on the wall of his office. Guess he threw something else over the wall. The last shreds of his integrity, probably.

Today Vietnam has one of the most repressive govts on Earth and they are currently engaging in genocide of the tribes of Montagnards in the highlands of Vietnam. These Montagnards were staunch allies of the US during the war. Kerry is silent about this, naturally, since he is neck deep in a scheme to normalize relations with Vietnam so that his close buddies can get a contract worth over $900 million to build a harbor at Nha Trang. I guess you would call this the "Anti-Special-Interests Kerry."

Moses on a pony, you are an unbelievable moron. No response, more mindless Bush-bashing. Longride was right, trying to expand your political horizons is a waste of time. You are incapable of comprehending it.

Oh, you mean you want your vote to count in making sure a socialist that's 180 degrees away from founding intent is elected? You're going to vote for a redistributionist command-economy stooge just to say you took part in the process? You're going to vote for the status quo police state? You're going to vote for government by man, not of law? You might as well say you are going to vote for Stalin because you want your vote to count. Yeah, good call. Way to think it through.

Actually the title sounds more like a book that Harry Browne wrote called "How I found freedom in an unfree world". Anyway, the analogy of government to the mafia is as apt as any I've read.
