Why doesn't hollywood just use minature motorcycles, dangling from visible strings, to do all the "special effects", instead of spending MEGA dollars on cgi, and still end up with something that looks JUST AS FAKE? Hell, if they pay me what they paid for that CGI crap, I'll film all the action sequences with my "super 8" camera, and provide the motorcycle models free of charge. I'll even throw in sound effects (vroom, vroom)!

The movie was actually a BIIIG HIT in Hong Kong and South East asia, where motorcycle racing has big followers. Two strokers is the king there (I just moved here in the states about 5 years ago).

The "it" bike in SE Asia: NSR 125 & Ninja 250 (both 2 stroke)

If they made it more realalistic, they would have to work on such things as plot, character development and dialogue in order to sell tickets. I think it would be a worthwile sacrifice.

Another great chase scene is in "The Bourne Identity"

Matt Damon's character drives the hell out of a beat up old Mini while being chased by cops on BMW motorcycles. The driving and riding is pretty impressive and not a CGI frame in site. Gotta give the stunt riders credit for hauling ass on wet cobblestone streets.

I think the producers had to stop doing that for some reason. At least that's what was up on thier website last week. I know it wasn't shown at the DC show.

George Bush's plan for the Moon and Mars earns my vote. For real.

Default The new KPaul

So far you are unhappy to see KPaul go, agree with him on all of his posts, and posted about GenY and profit ratios. Hmmmm. You wouldn't be KPaul's new account would you?? I bet you are. Maybe your old account is expiring, but you are already back. I smell a rat.

Seen the posts from "BrokenLink"? I smell a rat. KPaul already has his alias. Check out the posts from this nerd and tell me I'm wrong.

You must be talking about when Cheney plays "hide the wienie" with his trained monkey, Shrub. I tried to watch the Mess of the Union address last night but the Lying Liar made me so sick that I had to shut the broadcast off. You ever notice how Shrub tries to turn shiite into something glorious. The White House must be covered by a rose colored glass dome because there can be no other explanation for the crapola that was spewing forth from his forked tongue.

I thought about that yesterday. We all know he isn't really leaving.

That poster sure has a lot of the same opinions. Old people don't go to the movies anymore. Gen Y has lots of money to spend. Blah blah blah.

I wonder if his therapist knows about this.
