I just checked out their website and now in addition to the little automatics, they are selling a bike with a Harley Davidson 88B twincam engine and HD 5 speed transmission for $25k. Am I missing something here? Why not just buy a Harley??

To be honest, I don't exactly remember. I'm sure I got it off of some motorcycle site.

I've just kept it bookmarked and checked on Fischer's progress once in a while. I hope they make it to market.

I gotta say you used the most words I have ever seen to call KPaul an A-hole. Since I am into economics myself, I just call him an A-hole and leave it at that. Actually most readers here have stopped responding to his childish rants many moons ago. I did enjoy reading your post and is made me laugh as you seem to have more knowledge of economics in your little finger, than KPaul does in his whole body. Don't worry though. He is an expert engineer, computer specialist, networker, programmer, and can out bench press you and can kill your MSF score. So there! LOL

And he'll run you into the weeds on your Harley and has a hottie, tube top wearing, Pamela Anderson-style wife who he will defend against all manner of ruffians and scalawags with nothing more than a mop handle and an NRA sticker!

I went by the local Memphis Ridley dealer with my wife yesterday to check out their bikes. The sales guy I talked to said that Ridley started with a Kohler industrial engine and modified it to create the engine for the autoglide 750. The bikes looked better in person than they do in the pics I've seen online and my 5'1" wife was very inpressed that she could stand flat foot over it and liked the whole no clutch lever or shifter idea. The salesman said that they were primarily aimed at women who want to ride with their husband/boyfriend but can't handle a full size cruiser or don't want to learn to shift a manual transmission. I think they are overpriced at $14,000 but they seem to be selling well around here so far.
