No way I love the USA. Although the Canadians were right about Iraq. Bush just needs to go back to Texas and run a baseball team. The Rangers could use him.

True, true. But if you read over the criminal codes of most States you'll find secular rule making no more rational than the religious kind. Good luck trying to make sense of any State's alcohol laws.

And don't get me started on the Drug War.

BWAHAHAHAHA!

Eddie, you are a riot. In an earlier post, you said to me:

"Well, thats because you have been programed to see fair and balanced when you see right wing nuttiness."

Pretty funny, considering I'm neither a conservative, nor a Republican, nor did I vote for Bush. But since I don't see "right-wing nuttiness" in CW, and you do, then I must be a conservative tool. Because your judgement is utterly objective and unclouded by ideology.

And of course, anybody who thinks differently than you must have been "programmed", right? Because only lofty thinkers like yourself can think for themselves?

And what is your evidence of CW's "right-wing nuttiness"? An empirically-evident and politically-neutral crack about Ted Kennedy's weight - which you classify as "political commentary."

I say again - BWAHAHAHAHA!

Somebody's reading CW through the prism of his ideology, but it ain't me. I think psychologists call this "projection."

Hey, check this out - Rush Limbaugh is a pill-popper. I guess that makes me a liberal! HAHAHAHA!

Hay, Schizukiky, lighten up. Get a grip on yourself, your losing it. But that was the point of the exercise anyway.

Agreed. But then our society is only half secular now and our laws were made by and large by those who profess the Christian faith. To study the effect of a secular, humanistic, approach to governing one would have to look to Europe and they don't seem to be doing too badly. As for the so called war on drugs, check out the LA Weeklys story on Tommy

Chong and how the Ashcroft bully boys have come down on him. But then John Ashcroft is doing gods work.

I just can't wait until we are fully secular. Then we can start doing euthanasia on depressed 14 year olds like they do now in Holland. Three cheers for Progressive Europe!

Next would be the slaughter of everyone who doesn't accept Secular Humanism, like Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot did! I can hardly wait!

The three you mentioned were secular but hardly humanist. And Christians have shown they can slaughter non-belivers as well as any. But you should'nt have long to wait with the flood of non-christians coming into the country. Canada, by the way, has already turned toward a European culture and rejected the US model.

Marx, Kant Hegel, East India Company, Opium trade, Napoleanic Law, naziism, communism, socialism and on and on and on and on. You can keep the European Model.

Default No, thank YOU

For the kind words.

Yes, I read the Onion, yes, I copied their basic format (because I think it's effective and funny: wacky premise, quote from a person involved, quote from an expert, then quote from a victim or participant.), but I've been doing it for a while. I've been doing little news-type parodies since my typing class in high school, long before I discovered the Onion. National Lampoon was doing that kind of thing long before the Onion, anyway, so take it up with them.
