I still think there is a correlation betwen the right wing nut politics of the CW and M editors, regularly expressed, and the dreary prose of their hirelings.

Free spirts need not apply I expect. If in fact there are any out there. One would think la la land would be teeming with such types.

I gather Monica and Jennifier were just the tip ot the iceberg, floozywise, for Bill. Maybe if money gets tight there will be a kiss and tell book from him.

Some free-weight storage would be good too in case you want to show off your bench press.

Default FREE SPIRITS IN LA LA LAND

I live in said LA LA land. Are there free spirits here? For the most part, no. There are however, a bunch of freakin' posers. Here in LA, even the so-called free spirit is a victim of comercialism, consumerism, and capitalism. As an example, let me point out the enitre Von Dutch thing. To the motorcycle enthusiast, Mr. Von Dutch was a designer/builder of some great bikes. In LA, the idea of Von Dutch the rebel motorcyclist is a Marketable, sellable, conusmable commodity. So posers, who have nothing to do with motorcycles, or really any care of who Von Dutch was or did, buy into the marketed idea of rebeliousness. At a ridiculous price. Walk around LA and take a gander at the posers in Von Dutch tee shirts, hats and gear, thinking that they are showing off their rebeliousness though all they have done is bought into a trend. Of course I could be wrong. What do I know?

I read both, and have yet to see anything that can be characterized as "right-wing nut."

"...and the dreary prose of their hirelings."

I dunno. For dreariness, it's hard to beat leftists. Just writing "Halliburton", "Shrub", and 1,493 variations of "boy, is Bush dumb, or what?" over and over and over again is a recipe for narcolepsy. Free spirits? Hardly. They're as lock-step and humorless as Christian fundamentalists.

sadly, as happens so often in such cases, the handout prose is destined to be hoarded by a few journalistic warlords and little, if any of it, shall benefit the verbally malnourished scribes for whom it was intended. this is the way of the world.

Well, the staff here is still protecting you. Doya really believe that they've asked Dave Edwards for permission to re-run Hunter Thompson's masterpiece "Song of the Sausage Maker" on this site?

Or that they'd suggest you go out and get a copy of "Ghost Rider"? And READ it?

Or, for that matter, that they have the faintest idea what I am writing about?

Monica looks pretty hot in a J.A.P. kinda' way, Isn't Jennifer Flowers the one that looks like the queen of the double wide trailers?
