Well, it's more than just Motards. If you want to ride in much of the BLM/National Forest land, your bike must have a street registration.



Plus, with the dwindling off-road riding opportunities all over, it is increasingly convenient to be able to string together available trail with short stretches of pavement.



Looks like it all goes to heck after 1 Jan, however.
