Scuse me for being out of the loop... what the hell has this got to do with Minnesota? I live here and we don't attack anybody, at least not too effectively. Too many socialists.

Damn, this guy Adams sounds like a real piece of work. To bad. You'd think there would be a little bit of inter-business related professional courtesy. I just don't see how guys can do stuff like this and think they're in the right about it. What a jerk.

Default i don't get around much?

as a practicing journalist of nearly 20 years myself, i think i get around my fair share.

yes, i have seen articles copied and pasted. some of them stolen from me, unfortunately. but never to a commercial site like yours. you ARE in the business of commerce, nichts? i assume you are because i sent you some money.

what you did was similar to what happened at the NY Times. is that a practice you feel you should be emulating?

oh, and by the way:

ethical

eth-i-kel

adjective

conforming to accepted professional standards of conduct. of or relating to ethics.

i think it is inappropiate to copy the entire article. i agree it is not plagarism. it may be a copyright violation.

what i remember from my copyright class is this: (and please note that it was so long ago the phrase "intellectual property" was used, but it wasn't the title of the course) the transgression is the entire reprint. portions might be ok. for example you can view short clips of sporting events on the news. no violation.

i side with dean here. i emailed him and told him so.

if you want a sure cure for insomnia and want to debate the subject with the benefit of actual education, start at 17 usc 101 and keep reading. the annotations behind the code sections give you a flavor for some of the reasoning and for some of the legislative intent.

i am way more upset by the reference to mr. burns and his departure from this site.

Default No, and you can't get a point across either

No, what I did in no way, shape, or form emulated what happened at the Times. Wrong #2. That and your plagiarism statement just makes you look foolish. I think someone with 20 years in the business would know the difference, but I guess the standards were lowered when you got in. Maybe take the Internet Publishing 101 course again? So you sent us money to read that article?? Hmmm, here I thought the news here was free and anyone could read it. Did they charge to read it, and I didn't pay? My mistake. I guess I should check that again. Oh, I did. You were wrong a third time. They didn't charge and neither did we. Looks like you get the three strikes rule. Now go look up " irrelevant" and I think your picture is right beside it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I guess it was worthwhile for you to steal that thesaurus. Your writing still sucks, though. So go ahead and reply if it so behooves you, just remember that you will always remain a meaningless insect to me.

I will admit my mistake, however, but hey, no genius is always right about everything. Take our boy Einstien for example. Sure, his ideas on relativity help us understand our universe on a larger scale, however in trying to explain our microuniverse, his ideas fail terribly. Thereby, we have the science of quantum mechanics to explain the things that relativity cannot. Now I can go on and take you further in discussion on how scientists have attempted to somehow tie it all together, but I'm sure a little paramecium like you couldn't begin to grasp string, super-string, or ekpyrotic universe theories. That's okay though. I'd much rather you stick to the herd and let exceptional do their thing unobstructed by your pedestrian thoughts.

I can't stand bastards in/on BMWs. My MSF instructor rode a BMW. I hated that prick.

As far as anyone kicking my ass with their fists, sheeyit, come meet me on the corner of 2nd and Juanita in the great city of Los Angeles.
