Default insurance...good point

Betamax you will want to check around a few places about insurance. I believe you'll find quotes for the bikes will vary a lot, depending on who you call. Certain sport bikes can be VERY expensive to insure, especially if you live in a major metro area and are young, single and male. Do your homework, it will be worth your while.

Since you think your 600 pulls strong from 4000 rpm, I would imagine that would make you the expert here. Explaining anything to an idiot is an exercise in futility, so you win. Your bike is a torque monster and the twins aren't. You proved it.

Um no.. the SV will pull away from the CBR coming out of the turn in general.. all that controlable torque.. but the CBR will balst it if you want to do 130mph down the straight in between.

Remember, it's only posing if your bike has less than 4 cylinders...

Um, no it wouldn't, if you're in the correct gear for that corner.

betamax,

I think it depends on your riding expierence. If you are just starting out, the SV would be a good choice. If you have a few years riding under your belt, it would depend on what you like, you know, like some other people said, go sit on each one and check them out and see what you like.
