geez kpaul, who lit your tampon-string? those other sites you mentioned are boring as hell, mcdaily has about a paragraph a day on mostly dirtbike stuff, mc-usa is a good site though I go there more for the online store than anything else and 2wf is no better than MO, the content in MO changed around '99 or so, JB was at motorcyclist then, I believe, so it's hard to blame him. MO has a whole lot more and varied road tests than any online site I've found, and if it's the money that bugs you, just think of it as 3 latte`s plus tips for a years worth of mostly good reading,,,, And JB, threatening to cut him off every time he pisses you off just makes you look like crybaby, if your going to have an open forum type of web site, you have to expect people to disagree with what you say, kpaul just likes to flame, you should have figured that one out by now.... Now you two go to your rooms till you can get along, or you don't get no supper.

I really don't have anything to say concerning this subject. I just look for excuses to quote Jack Nickels. (But this is still my favorite non-porn site.)

Take care,

David

Gotta agree -- the Hayden Bros Joe Rocket commercials and the Kawi commercial with the cute girls buying grapes are close competitors for the worst ads on TV (and that is sayin' sumptin!). The fact that Speed TV runs them at least once every commercial break makes it worse.

OTOH, it that is what it takes to pay the bills to keep the race coverage comin', I'll learn to tune them out. I probably will not be buyin any Joe Rocket leathers or a Kawasiki any time soon unless they change the ads though.

Is it me or does the "love" not flow to Eric Bostrom at all or what? I mean E Rock rides his butt off on what I believe is probably a lesser machine and the man can't get no love at all. I mean Eboz is in 2nd place behind Nicky "win it all" Hayden and I can't get those 2 knuckleheads to show E any love whatsoever. All I hear is how hard Eboz is riding as if to say that he may pushing it but the kid can ride and I don't think that ski really shows his appreciation.

KPaul - Objective or constructive critique of MO is probably welcome by the staff. I've seen you do this before. I've seen you exercise more of an open mind. I found myself cheering on your new found maturity. In this thread, you're back to name calling and goading. KPaul, I know you have the maturity and objectivity in you. Prove me right... or get your Ritalin prescription renewed.

Sure the commentary can be lame at times, but at least there is some decent racing on t.v. now.

Maybe I am too much of a gearhead, but there is no where near enough info on the bikes. Hardly any mention of the machines these very talented riders wrangle during a race. The average non-rider has no clue just how advanced the bikes are and just how different they can be from one another...especially in WSB.

Default hipo hurricane holler

Someone had to say something about the yowling Brain Drebber. I love motorcycle roadracing more than all other tv programming combined, so I'm loathe to cast aspertions toward it. But that guy uses the "Hipo hurricane holler" to make even the most mundane observations.

Mr. Burns, thanks for a job well done.
