The guys i ride with from the R1 forum average mid-thirties. We have much more money to throw at hobbies than younger guys. Can't wait to see your numbers.

Default Have you seen the price of a GSXR-750 lately?

They are about $9500. Personally, I would go ahead and spend a little more cash for a liter bike and then add the Penske shock, reworked forks and HH+ brake pads.

I can't see riding around on a peaky 750 when you can get a 1000 for less about 800 more.

Default Wrong!

It is a proven scientific fact. The GSXR-1000 is the ugliest bike ever created!

Why does everyone think they're an expert? If street is more important to you read that section. If track is more important to you read that section. If drag racing is more important to you read that section. These guys do a good job with giving objective facts. I didn't have any problem with the bike I would pick based on my needs. I think you people are breaking your arms trying to pat yourself on the back for thinking you're better than these guys. True I envy their job, but I'm not going to put them down because I'm too petty to recognize my own jealousy.

The GSXR proved fastest everywhere, but due to the dog ***** looksof the GSXR, the R1's looks made all testers want to own one. I would like to get a GSXR... but it is very ugly.... i wasnt impressed with the black powdercoat on the new r1 either.
