MO's gain is Motorcyclist's loss. As Burns said recently, "It's like 'Queen For A Day' without the appliances. Stay frosty.

Mitch Boehm may be a fat tub of lard, but someone tell me what the hell is wrong with Josh Norem? He looks like a 4 foot tall weasel with a Napoleon complex.

Thank God Burns is here. No more of that rag for me. Time to subscribe tomorrow.

Sum*****! There IS a publishing God. Welcome back into the arms of outlaw journalismÂ… just the way it should be. Whatever they're paying you Burns, make sure you prove it's not enough.

When I was reading this, and got to the "fine wine" bit, I realized that I've bought my last 3 bikes on the recommendation of MO, (Pity it's rubbishing my 1150GS now though - wrongly), I read mcn.com, bike, ride and motorcyclist as well.

So lets see. MCN has gone so soft and commercial it ain't worth it anymore except for the odd Haga babe. I no longer have to buy motorcyclist as the only edge in the mag is now here. A copy of Bike or Ride in the US/LA costs about 2/3's of the subsciption here.

So what's my point? Well, welcome JB.. glad you came here. I'm looking forward to see if you can live up to MO.....

I agree, I subscribed a week ago. Now I feel much better about shelling out those 12 bucks.

Also, it seems MO has recently really started beating the print mags to the punch... Did you have some kind of agreement previously where you wouldn't post new material until a certain date? Anyway, the quick turn-around times made me subscribe, and I am even happier. Keep up the good work.

Â…Â…Â…well, maybe it's not as outlaw as it could be, considering the ***** added to my last (first) post.

For the record: Whatever we pay burns, I'll attest, it'll never be enough.

hey John! Welcome ! I'm glad to see they got you here at MO, I was starting to have "Bitter little man" withdrawrals when I read you had parted ways with Boehm and Co. considering I just got my new Motorcyclist yesterday, and of course read your column first (The Jagrolet, hehehe, Gotta love it.) when I heard you left , I was scouring the net to see where you'd turn up. My guess here was right on the money when I read there was going to be some big announcement coming today. Man, this is cool. So, you going to give a regular weekly (Maybe daily?) "Bitter" column? One can only thank the Motorcycle Gods for delivering you to us here. Either that or for the delivery boy at the door with the Pizza.

Anyway, glad to see you here. Good Luck, and rock on !

Default Burns needs a MO-nickname!!

The other writers etc... on this site seem to have a nickname... Burns needs one.

I suggest: Montgomery .. or Monty. It's a natural. Montgomery Burns is a Bitter Little Man on "The Simpsons", ipso-facto...
