Many thanks for the update.

Those few of us who have internet connections but no television access will be eternally grateful for the efforts expended during the conversion process. No more Google is required, nor UTube. And for those poor souls with TV's, you may now by-pass SPEED, SPIKE, ESPN, and whatever other video channels your provider may offer.

Addressing the regularity concept:

That becomes much more important as the years go by.

So sorry to let you in on a poorly kept secret, though.

Being regular is not a good thing when all that happens is diarrhea.

Content counts.

I know this comment isn't going to mean diddly-squat, since the re-design is pretty much a done deal, but I like the clean design of the site as it is now. It's better than any of the more "sophisticated" motorcycle news sites on the 'net. Unlike a site like MCN that has a great paper magazine but a website that blows.

The only thing that has me really peeved is the advertisements that have been added on the borders of the page. Why am I paying for a subscription, only to be bombarded with ads?! If you want to put ads on the site, put them in their own section so I don't have to look at them if I don't want to. This "feature" is what has me rethinking about renewing or not renewing my subscription.

A minor issue is that even though my profile has postings set to "nested", I never see them nested unless I pick it from the drop-down list and hit the refresh button. But I can live with that.

I think somebody needs to tell K****head that there is a huge difference between disagreeing, intelligent argument, and being an *******. I don't think he's figured out which one he is 99% of the time.

Yeah. Look at motorcycle daily. Sure Dirck posts something almost every day but the content is sometimes very thin.

My guess is many of us would be happy with the "Bitter little man" rants of JB and not be put off if he had little cycle relevance. Come on JB looks like you have an invite to stand on a soap box. Jump right up. please!

Ha! If you think MO is bad for ads just open Cycle World. Not only do you get ads but you also get slavish industry toadying par excellence.

You pay for cable TV and are inundated with ads. You pay to enter a movie theatre and get ads. MO is one of the least ad intensive commercial sites available.

I still don't get how people can be upset with the advertising on this site. It is some of the least intrusive advertising anywhere.

It also seems kind of lame that they are just buying stories. Over the past two years I would have to say 60-70% seemed like bought European content. I bet if you looked hard enough you would find Euro print mags with the same stories.
