Okay, I'll bring chips to the party and stay around to see if anything cool happens.

I think you still owe us for the red cup, Mr. Daniel.
(I prefer kettle-cooked BBQ chips, by the way.) |

I guess I'll hang around. I get paid too much money and have too much vacation time built up to leave MO anyway.
How's that baby KD? |

I've been here since the start, might as well stick around now I guess.
That migration thing is a pain too, we migrated from Canada to here when I was a kid, pain in the ass having to pack your sh*t up, plus the cat always runs off.

I now have two new babies, Buz! Funny thing is that I've actually put in more time with my MO baby than I have with my daughter! But I sneak away from the magic box long enough to realize I've been blessed.
Also, I'm thrilled to hear lots of positive comments on this thread. We know there'll be some of the MO faithful that will be reluctant to change, and I empathize with them. But MO really needed a redesign - for so many reasons - and so the old MO must be retired. Hell, it's about 18 years old, and its about time for it to fly the proverbial coop. As for JB, I'd be over the moon if he could be a regular MO contributor. I shared the adjacent office with him when we were at Motorcyclist, which was a thrill because he was/is my fave motojournalist. But I fear that MO would have to take over the (Cycle) World before that happened. Whadda ya say, JB? You feel like working for free backpacks and faceshields again?

Did you recently write a little blurb in C&D? I think it was for a Mercedes test.
Can't be that many Kevin Dukes out there. |

The ten years ive tuned in have been, at worst, entertaining. Not done enjoying 1.0, so 2.0 will be extra gravy for me... as ive also said before, the price to get this ride for a year is well under the total value. Java and reading our profound threads in the a.m. is worth well beyond $12.00.
Indeed, who else will put up with this lot? Carry on. |
