An airplane perpendicular to a car is straight above it (perpendicular means 90 degrees). What's going to happen if a plane bounces a radar beam off an object straight below it? It will read zero mph.

Now, if the plane is at an angle between 0 and 90, and it accounts for its own speed and for the angle to the car, then I'm sure all kinds of neato computations can be made to get an accurate reading. But "perpendicular"? It will read 0 mph.

Our thin skins usually mean that we don't read postings that are in any way negative to us, but in this case, tripleripple is exactly right, so we were forced to feel the sting and respond.

Let me say first off that if the pocket-protector geeks behind the new software being readied to bring you MO v 2.0 would step up their game, you'd probably all be writing flattering things about us by now. We've got some killer content ready to unleash just as soon as MO:2 is ready to launch. When might that be? Well, it should be within two weeks, but I don't know if I'd bet my chromed Hayabusa on it.

Anyway, Pete and I have discussed this very matter and I now have him locked in my dungeon until he scribbles a reasonable explanation about what's been going on lately. Then I'll add a couple of commas and call it my own, then will post an article in which will explain the recent lack of content and upcoming plans for new MO.

That's all for now. I hear Pete grunting in my basement again, so I might have to give him another bowl of cold gruel. Stay tuned!
