He hangs-around Shasta a lot - all the weird Alien Vibes emanating from the Lava Tubes seek to distort his psyche.

How abut an article on the Ducati Sport classics!? Kidding, but that thing was getting as comfortable as my dog on the couch on this website.

So thanks for the new cotent, great article. Exactly the kind of fun read we expect. Seemed like a very reasonable comparison in my experience. But damnit you didn't pick my xxxxxx as the winner, I'm quiting, demanding a refund, and pouting for at least a fortnight.

Default We don't do track days.

Of course bigger bikes are faster. They are faster here in the crowded Northeast because we spend most of our time accelerating from stop lights, toll booths, blind corners, and slow delivery trucks.

"Fast sweepers" and "high-siding" are not in our vocabulary. The roads are poorly maintained and the sight lines too short. Motorcycles here are not invisible, we are seen and ignored. We pose no threat to the SUV's and are hated for blocking their view of the other SUV's.

We get run off the road if we try to stay with traffic. A motorcycle is welcome to go faster as long as they stay out of the way.

Default Suzuki Savage ...

Hey obandoj - I have a friend who is looking into buying a savage at the moment (his first bike).

Apart from the crank, and the weird split leaky head, any other issues to be wary of?

He likes the style and price, and while its not my cup of tea at all, anyone have any suggestions for similarly styled bikes at the same price point?

(the M50 is like world's better isn't it?)

Bigger bike are not always faster.

Based on your description, I don't see how a bigger bike would come in handy. Small and light would be far more enjoyable.

Also, Sean wasn't talking about track days.

"They are faster here in the crowded Northeast because we spend most of our time accelerating from stop lights, toll booths, blind corners, and slow delivery trucks."

-ANY of the three reviewed bike will out accelerate a delivery truck. And "in the crowded northeast" it really seems you would only use a fragment of the actual performance a "big bike" offers.

You argument for a bigger bike holds no water.
