Yeah. Every local bike accessory shop around me has maintenance free batteries. The phoniness just never stops.

No, I'm gay FOR civil engineers. They can be straight. In fact, they pretty much have to be, since gays are apparently testosterone-deficient math retards.

"My Buell and the Vrod share the same battery."

Acid? I've been using maintenance-free batteries for over ten years, but before that I didn't use acid. Just distilled water. Was I doing something wrong, moto-experts?

Pretty funny how the farkelizing adds up. I started with the brakes and suspension on my KLR and realized by the time I get this thing done I'll have 650GS Dakar money in it.

Not to imply the bmw is the best, just fully loaded at $9500

I really, really liked my EX500. I have had so many fond memories of it that when I walked into the local dealership to get some parts and I saw the 650R (the obvious replacement), I sat on it for a while and I had an urge to buy it - right on the spot.

I know there are better bikes. There are faster bikes. There are more beautiful bikes as well.

But this one does all one REASONABLY needs for a very low price ($6K out the door). In fact, same applies for the SV650. If one uses REASON and bang-for-buck, then these 2 bikes are all you need.

In fact, I wonder if you can make the same kind of comparo for $7K (1-step upgrade to the bargain basement $5K).

Who says I wasn't buying the Vrod on an installment basis? At this pace my wife will never notice....

I paid $3900. for my pristene '02 Bandit 1200S with 5900 miles. I looked on CraigsList but actually found the bike in Cycle Trader.

The guy wanted $4200 but it had been in there for awhile and wanted to sell so I had some leverage.

If he bought it at Bent Bike it was probably the absolute cheapest Chinese crap they could find, as are most of their products so I believe he probably did have to add acid.

I don't know why I always stick up for the guy
