I have a 750 and know for a fact it will always be faster than I am.

First one I see, I'm gonna jimmy the seat lock (they have seat locks, don't they?) and steal the owner's manual.

I think the "22 years of experience" may have been construed as "I'm 22 years old, with loads of experience" by longride, rather than "I spent over 22 years working in Dealerships...etc, etc."

Hell, hotwire it, jam the throttle full-on, then ride it off the docks............

Default Your last chance to apologize

Wow, did I hit a hot button. I concede that you are all better riders than me, but I have been riding for 35 years accident free. Listen, doesn't a bike with torque and lots of roll-on power sound like more fun than a wound-out bike with short gearing?

I was in LA two years ago and drove your six lane highways. It was tough watching all three mirrors at once. It appears that the best riding technique where you live is to ride fast and smooth. But here in the NYC area we have moving traffic jams. A lane change results in a friendly wave or the finger almost every time. Scooters and small bikes don't get the respect that a big bike gets, that's all.

You ain't going to do any knee dragging on the Cross Bronx Expressway. (That's a purposefull exaggeration, son)

Default give Jimmy a break...

I'm sure he's earned it! Instead, go to the Hyosung website and enjoy the comedic splendor of their PDF download section here: http://www.hyosungmotorsusa.com/Down...oad.asp?page=1

They have shop manuals and owner's manuals.

Default Another gem...

From a Hyosung scooter manual:

"Front brake be anxious about motorcycle

falling down when braking suddenly as disk

brake system."

Yo, I be anxious too! Ebonics in Korea!

I have an 87' Savage with 16,000 miles. I bought it for $900, about two years ago and I drive the ***** out of it. I am going to be getting a new bike soon, so I have pretty much neglected all maintnance other than the occasional oil change. The bike always fires right up and runs great. Not bad for a 20 year old bike (still looks pretty good too).

"The wife of a guy I used to teach with let me ride her Savage once."
