I don't know about V-6s, but there have been more than a couple car engined bikes.

The Munch Mammoth used a car engine and was considered huge and extreme in its day. I think the original ones used a 1200cc engine. Freakin' chick's bike. I guess they were all wussies back in the 60s. I've seen some VW engined BMW conversions.

I'm sure some of those a bit longer in tooth that I can tell of some car motor conversions they've seen. Please.

I agree wih you 100%. I would rather have a boatload of bikes for that 36G, but IF I had the 36 just laying around afterwords, I'd have one of these too. They are pretty cool bikes. Different and kinda nuts, like me.

So these guys had access to Boss Hoss but not to a quarter mile track? Come on.

Anyways I fully approve this bike. Excellent. Would certainly consider one if it wasn't so damn expensive. Also wonder if it has been EU approved.

His knowledge of Edsels goes hand in hand with his knowledge of 57 Chevys, GoldWings, and the Boss Hoss. Zero. He just talks out his ass on just about every subject, then spends 50% of every thread proving himself right by linking to previous stupid posts of his. And the pattern goes on and on and on and on.

Saw one of these bikes at a local drag strip last year. They are as amazing in their engineering as they are obnoxious in their concept. The guy had a big block punched out to over 600ci (don't remember the exact size).

They really are the ultimate attention getter. All this guy did was stand by the bike waiting for the next passerby to ask him about it.

He made a couple 1/4 mile passes which consisted of 1/8+ mile of incredible tire smoke.

Yeah, that's what I said.

But they were at the Strugis motorcycle ralley and I guess there isn't a full 1/4 mile strip there.

For those of you with a slim wallet, but still jonesing for a ride, I seem to recall a large demo fleet in Daytona during Bikeweek. Better get in line to sign up early, though, say...0500?
