Well, true. They certainly have no equal.

Default kpaul the GMP, car/motocycle comparasion

kpaul always thinks Harley's are the car equivalent of a 57 Chevy..

[*]Imagine if GM built the 57 Chevy today i.e. same styling, but with modern electronic fuel injection, radial tires, modern shocks..</a>. That is what Harley's essentially are excluding the V-Rod of course.. Then the Boss Hoss is a 57 Cadillac or a 58 Edsel

[*]kpaul would argue all cruisers are like all 57 era cars. "Modern" cruisers are like the V-Rod, Mean Streak, M109, and Warrior are like 50s custom cars with modern engines, chopped roofs,

etc.

Default Give me Wing anyday..

Wings are cool.. Can't see myself getting a Harley or cruiser but some day I want to get a Wing and do some Iron Butts.. Saw an cop on a Wing maneuvering through traffic with his lights on and siren. It was like Hershall Walker/Jim Brown/Earl Campbell. Big but athletic, agile, and fast. Remarkable machine

I talked to a guy who had a 502 and he didn't really know what it would do in the quarter, but I gathered that it wasn't as impressive as you might think. It had a tire about a foot across, and he said what it did better than anything was convert rubber into smoke.

What I think it is, really, is paying 36000 bucks so people will talk to you. The guy who owned on that I met was nice enough, but I got the sense that he craved attention.

agree about the attention craving... i see that a lot too, but over here in europe it's mainly guys that buy gixxer 1000s and ducati corsas to ride around town at 40 miles an hour, stomping on it between stoplights to make some noise and draw some stares.

Yeah, well 1100 pounds is a lot of mass. Still, it's got potential.

Too bad Gabe didn't time the 60-150 roll-on.

Just a quick question. What is the 0 mph to 60 mph and 60-80 mph roll-ons for the Boss Hoss?
