I've seen my friend's 2002 R1150RT, with the telelever suspension and all the ABSservo crap, stop so hard that the rear wheel lifted about two feet at the end of the stop. Is that a stoppie or just a poppie? It startled my friend so it might have been a poopie!

That review was out-freakin'-standing!

Only suggestion is for you to find a female rider to add to your reviewcrew. It would be helpful to have another viewpoint in your critique.

Keep up the great work, guys!

Loved the article! Love all three bikes, especially the italians. Unfortunately, it's very clear that I've been priced out of the new motorcycle. $13,000 plus? Thanks though for the vicarious thrills.

I had a 96 Wing. I always wanted one of the naked 1000's since back in the day. It was a fantastic buy. Sorted an ignition problem, rebuilt the carbs, changed out the timing belts, and this thing runs like brand new. It's only got 40K on the clock, so I figure it's got about 160K left in it at least. It's off the charts on the KPPI price/performance scale.

What's Purdy? Is it a women's insane asylum?

That's partly why I sold my Brutale. There's only one way to ride it and that is like a total maniac.

I would go terrorize the upper crust in Rancho Santa Fe and then come home. It would be like 30 miles and a dozen hair-raising experiences.

Although I managed to pull off a few 250 mile days.
