Why it's easy, just stick your head in the sand. Anyone that honestly thinks a new rider should be allowed on an R1, GSXR or what have you is a fool, just the same as buying some 800lb cruiser for a first bike.

Make them ride a 250 for a year to learn how to handle a bike, then go from there. Open your eyes and take a long hard look around instead of wrapping yourself in the flag and crying about freedom.

Actually you'll need to keep the young people living to pay your benefits.

It's the old people you need to kill off.

Maybe everyone over 65 should be given a Harley and a twelve pack upon retirement.

Show a valid license before you pick up the bike. The dealer attaches L plates before you ride it home. If you buy from a private party and get caught without an L plate or license, the bike gets confiscated and used in MSF classes and you lose your car license for a year.

Get caught driving without a license or insurance and you get a year picking up trash on the side of the road every weekend.

ok well i can accept that ...freedom of choice

(even down to do i take heroin or not)..

personally i do believe in that choice but the philosophical arguement i am afraid is just that...fine in theory

however perhaps not so great if i am the one who picks up the tab for your surgery or other peoples due to your actions (or rehab for your heroin addiction)

but if in your country if you crash you are left on the side of the road to fend for yourself or face the full consequences of your own actions then yes i fully agree with you....

but if like europe somebody will pick up the pieces then be prepared to pay the piper in some sort of regulation

funny how here that is seen as very acceptable but in the US it is seen as a personal invasion of rights..just cultural differences i suppose

Don't you have anything better to do than sit around all day moderating everyone's posts? You're abusing a useful feature just to manipulate this site's filters into showing just your posts and the ones you agree with and making the people you disagree with disappear behind the default filter. That's pure chickensh!t.

[Please, MO, look into either disabling the Moderate feature, or changing it so a member (A) can't moderate his own posts, (B) can't moderate the same post repeatedly, and (C) is limited to a fixed daily number of posts to moderate. Until then, changing the filter default to -1 (lots of members don't know how this feature works) will keep this from becoming Kpaul's vanity site.]

That is an excellent program and a good use of Buell Blast's. At least Harley makes the effort. I think Harley really does try to do the right thing, that's why they're in the position they're in today.

You don't think he had surgery after sliding down the road?
