Default Re: Not Riding In The Rain

During the Summer, the only other bikes I see on rainy day commutes are a handful of cruisers, one Goldwing, and one Kaw 636.

During the Winter (i.e., below 50deg F), the only other bikes I see are one guy on a cruiser (sometimes), and the guy on the 636.

Well, perhaps you're right. But most Sportbike riders are as well. Probably an even greater percentage of the genre than Cruiser riders.

I should know, as I'm one of those sportbike "Posers", - I can only manage 13,000-16,000 miles a year. I know a few (just a few, mind you) Harley riders that manage somewhere north of 30,000mi/annually.

So you're thinking something like an R1200RT? I suppose that could be realistic but I wouldn't hold my breath. (Although I'd willingly waterboard KP waiting for it.)

As far as 1800cc....that'd be some damn big slugs in that engine.

Don't beat him down too hard Sean or his mommywife will have to call you pleading her boyhusband's case.

I mean you just know it's like an episode of Cops over there.

I had him over for dinner one evening at my house and had to take out a home equity line of credit to feed him!
