Go away little boy. The only thing that's sad is you.

Thanks for the buyers guide to Harley.

I tried to do the same thing last week by visiting the website, but finally settled on none of the current models because of all the hype on their website and those high prices.

Of course I still want one. I'll stop by and take a look at the 2007 Sportster.

OK Kids, lets think of why the big H-D's are popular in the big flat midwest where a 1000 mile day is not a surreal concept. You say the motor is the thing? WRONG bucko. Wheelbase is where it's at.

Look let me make it simple for you SoCal folks who can't go 100 miles without climbing some mountain or other.

We Midwesterners can ride from dawn to sunset at 80mph without hitting more than a speedbump and that's why big H-Ds are the ***** for our sort of touring. Also why H-D's were built the size they are. Town or canyon riding is what those short wheelbase rockets are best at.

Good point. On a recent business trip to the Midwest from my home near Seattle, I was reminded of the facts you point out. If I was longride I would be hard pressed to justify the purchase of a sportbike. On the other hand. I go two miles out my door I hit twisty mountain evergreen lined roads.. 1 WA mile = 1000 Chicago miles. But you have to learn how to ride in the rain though..think Buz and Racer Boy would have a hard time with the liquid sunshine. I love riding in the rain cause the cruiser folks only come out and pose er ride when the sun shines.
