The only newer litre bike I've ridden was an '04 R1 a few years ago. I was so totally impressed I can't imagine a dramatic improvement that this is. I'll hazard a guess and say I probably couldn't tell the difference anyway but it sure was fun for a short ride.

Ah well at almost 50 I'm outside the target demographic anyway, A new FZ1 or the 1250 Bandito Grande` is way more my speed and if I drag my beater Range Rover out of the garage I'll have room right next to the faithful Bonnie.

Then there's the R1200RT my buds trying to talk me into...

Decisions decisions

You can do it. Prior to moving to my new digs, I had my car, geezer glide, brutale and ducati all parked in a one car garage.

Yeah, but turnin' the Rover on its side won't give him any room - they're about as tall as they are wide! (mebbe more)

I like to think of it as more discombobulated.

It's a British car. It's going to self-ignite soon anyway and then he'll have plenty of room in the garage, er...vacant lot that used to be his garage.

Test rode last year's R1 back to back with the new Aprilia Tuono. To me, one is a great track bike that can do road time,

the other is a great road bike that can do track time. Even if I make a few track days this year, the Tuono is just a better all-around bike.
