I'd rather have something a little less expensive but with more function. As in less than $10K. I'm all for Victory selling the ***** out of their bikes, but they are just too $$ for my blood.

Besides it was in the uptakes, the fantail is secured on a carrier at sea.

Best looking cruiser I've seen.

Ridiculously overpriced.

Oh that's right. I've never been on a bird farm. What's it like to hit the beach with 2500 other dipsomaniacs? I only had to deal with about 300.

Usually if the JFK or Kitty Hawk pulled into Yokosuka when my Can was there we'd just not bother going ashore for a couple of days. Nothing like dealing with 3000 drunks with 4-5 months tax free and combat pay infesting the 100+ bars on Honcho Street.

We were usually on 12 and 12 port and starboard doing maintienance we couldn't do underway, like cleaning boilers or f.o.s.p. and f.d. fan repairs, valve work, that kind of stuff.

The advantage was that we missed the inital wave of squids hitting the beach, by the time we got off they were all passed out or puking at the fleet landing. Me and the boys would head away from the sailor bars and hey-joes and find a nice sidewalk cafe` and hang out drinking Hienekens.

The Med was a whole lot different than West Pac., lot better liberty ports even for a carrier

The West Pac was certainly a different world, but I'd have to say that I entirely enjoyed by my liberties in Taiwan. There's something about those china dolls.......

..in the vent shop, right above sponson 8.

A lot of coughing and blue tinged smoke came out of that compartment...

The MAA's would be on the sponson, wondering where that hash smell was comming from. Dummies.

Isn't "MAA dummies" a redundancy? Like "military intelligence" or "government efficiency".
